KAKUHORI

The tea leaves used in "KAKUHORI" are grown in the warm climate and rich black soil of Shibushi City, Kagoshima Prefecture. In addition to being particular about the growing and manufacturing process, we have carefully selected a combination of a single variety of tea, mainly harvested from a single farm, and a manufacturing method to create a brand that can be enjoyed in a variety of situations.

KAKUHORI

Kakuhori's eight types of tea combine Kagoshima's representative tea varieties and the "deep steaming method" that is a feature of Kagoshima tea, allowing you to fully enjoy the charms of Kagoshima tea. For example, products using the "Sae Midori" variety allow you to enjoy its gentle aroma and refreshing taste, which is a characteristic of the product, by using the different manufacturing methods of "regular sencha" and "deep steamed sencha" . "Deep steamed sencha Yutaka Midori" allows you to enjoy the balance of the rich taste and astringency of Kagoshima tea's representative "Yutaka Midori", while "Kamairi tea Oku Midori " is made using the "kamairi method" that has been used since ancient times mainly in Kyushu, allowing you to enjoy the fragrant aroma and light flavor.

In addition, "Kakuhori Black Tea Benifuuki," which has been achieving brilliant results in various show races both at home and abroad in recent years, is a masterpiece that took five years to create. We hope that more people will try Kakuhori Black Tea and experience the deliciousness and possibilities of Japanese black tea.

Kakuhori Black Tea Benifuuki has been awarded three stars in the Black Tea category of Great Taste 2024.
