The idea of a winery-like "Osumi Teanary"

Just as there are wineries in wine-producing regions, Osumi Teanary was born from the desire to create a place in Kagoshima where people can gather to enjoy tea. We will promote tea from Osumi through various experiences related to tea.

One of these businesses is the creative tea restaurant "Chaon no Kura," where many people enjoy creative dishes made with tea.

The animation conveys the "smells and sounds of tea making."

Direction / Compositing / Editing
Sankaku is a creative team that proposes and produces art direction in a wide range of areas, with a focus on animation-based visual expression.

We have created an animation that shows the realistic tea production process at Horiguchi Seicha in the Osumi region and gives a sense of the tea-producing area.

Theme of the third week: "Fragrant Tea?!" | Broadcast on December 16, 2024

The theme for the third week is "Fragrant Tea?!" Have you ever heard of a tea incense burner?
This episode was recorded while enjoying the aroma of tea with a tea incense burner burning. Is it a little different from drinking tea? We suggested to Kinoshita how to enjoy tea with an incense burner.

"Osumi Tea's Recommended Tea Incense Burner"
"Tea leaves specially made for tea incense burners"
"TEAET Flavored Green Tea Osumi Yuzu"

A tea incense burner is a burner for heating tea leaves and enjoying their aroma. There is a tray on top of the burner to hold the tea leaves, and heat is applied from a candle at the bottom.

It takes a while for the candle flame to slowly warm the tea leaves and release the aroma. Meanwhile, the fragrant aroma of the tea leaves gently spreads throughout the room, creating a comfortable space.

1. Prepare the tea leaves. Place a light handful of your favorite tea leaves on the incense burner tray. At Osumi Chazen, we have special tea leaves available so you can enjoy the aroma even more. In addition, "TEAET Flavored Green Tea Osumi Yuzu," which contains yuzu, is a tea bag that can be drunk, but you can also enjoy the aroma.

2. Place the candle at the bottom of the incense burner and light it. The candle flame will gently warm the tea leaves.

3. Enjoy the aroma of the tea . After waiting a few minutes, the fragrant aroma of the tea leaves will begin to rise little by little. The nostalgic aroma of tea will fill the entire room, creating a relaxing atmosphere.

4. Cleaning up after use <br/> Extinguish the candle and remove the tea leaves from the saucer once they have cooled. It is a good idea to lightly wipe the saucer so that it is clean for next use.

We also spoke with Kinoshita about the white porcelain tea incense burner that is being developed with the Arita ware maker Keizangama as an original incense burner for Osumi Chazen.
